I'm driven by the power of design to transform healthcare delivery. As Professor of Healthcare Applications of Design at Cardiff Metropolitan University, I combine user-centred design with cutting-edge technology to create solutions that improve patient outcomes and empower healthcare professionals.

My research, recognised with a Queen's Anniversary Prize, focuses on developing novel design and manufacturing methods for custom medical devices. I translate these advancements into real-world impact through collaborations with hospitals, industry, and research groups.

Beyond academia, I co-founded Trinity Creative Ltd., creating adaptive sports products that empower individuals with unique needs. This entrepreneurial spirit fuels my commercial expertise, allowing me to identify research with global relevance.

Collaboration is key to my approach. I foster knowledge exchange through conferences, workshops, and the Master's programme modules in custom medical device design. Inspiring the next generation of healthcare innovators is deeply rewarding.

My passion extends beyond professional pursuits. I'm an avid mountain biker, bike polo player, and volunteer football coach, cherishing the outdoors and community engagement.
